Oppositional adjectives

Adjectives are words that describe a noun or a pronoun. For example: a tall man, a red car, a narrow lane, an open door, a closed window
Some adjectives have opposites, that means that there is an adjective that has a contrary meaning to another adjective.
Here is a list of some examples of oppositional adjectives:

  • good – bad

  • heavy – light
